When is it useful?
  If there is a problem when processing the PDF printing press.
For example:
- too long processing time
- the PDF structure is defective
- when printing, we get different results relative to the PDF.
 

Advantage:
  - Easier PDF structure.

- Faster processing time. (RIP software)
 

Disadvantage:
  In offset printing, small letters and thin lines may have aesthetic problems..
